  • Playwright/Director Wendy Beckett has written more than 25 theatre plays and directed more than 40. She has also written radio plays for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, biographies, books, librettos, articles of academic study and journalism. On ABC radio she conducted interviews with some of the best minds of our time – Gore Vidal, Leonard Bernstein and Paul Bowles. Her academic background includes psychology, philosophy and literature and she has lectured in these subjects in Australian Universities. Wendy Beckett has taken her plays around the globe with performances in Sydney, New York, Paris, Tokyo and more.

  • Adam Fitzgerald is a director, filmmaker, writer, and content creator whose work has been recognized with an Emmy Nomination, Critic's Picks from The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, TimeOut Chicago and TimeOut New York, Best of the Year nods in Advocate Magazine and The Contra Costa Times, a Jeff Award Nomination and two San Francisco Bay Area Critics Award nominations. His PSA Think Before You Speak (director/writer) for GLSEN won a national contest judged by Brett Ratner and The Ad Council (and screened at the LA Respect Awards) and his short film, Occupy Me (director/writer), was an official selection screening in multiple festivals across Europe, Asia and North America. Adam also directed Resistance Radio for Man in the High Castle (Amazon Studios, Campfire) which was nominated for an Emmy Award and received two Silver and three Bronze Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and his short film Dividends won Best Director at the New York Film Awards. Adam has served as General Manager for Pascal Productions for the past twelve years, producing shows in New York City, Paris and Sydney.

  • Halcyon is a multi disciplinary designer with a background in Fine Arts. Halcyon studied at the National Art School and Australian Film Television & Radio School. She has worked in film, theatre and television as a graphic, costume, set and production designer both in Australia and abroad. Halcyon also works as an interior designer.

  • Born in Patras, Fotis studied classical ballet in Athens, at Kiev’s Ballet Academy and at the Hungarian National Ballet School in Budapest, where he graduated with a classical ballet master diploma.

    Fotis has danced with the ballet company of Kazan’s State Ballet Theatre and the ballet company of the State theatre of Northern Greece, and since 1997, as a dancer with the Greek National Opera ballet, in the position of demi soloist.

    Fotis works as a part of the team for almost all the productions of the classical repertory that have been presented by the Greek National Opera ballet, as well as in many of their contemporary works. He has collaborated with choreographers such as I. Zelensky, R. Zanella, G. Casado, I. Muchamedov, V. Vasiliev, L. Massine, R. Barra, C. Armitage, B. Millepied among others.

    From 2017 on he has taken the position of Ballet Master and Assistant Choreographer of the Greek National Ballet Company. He teaches ballet in various schools as well as in the school of the Opera House in Athens.

    He has choreographed dance shows, operas and operettas such as Aida and Traviata for the Greek National Opera House, musical theatre and movement direction for theatre plays.

  • Pavlos Thanopoulos was born in Athens and studied History of Art at the Université de Toulouse, Le Mirail, Theatre and Costume design at the Wimbledon School of Art (BA Costume Design) and at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design London (MA Scenography). He worked at the costume and wardrobe departments of the Royal Opera House London and at the Theatre du Capitole in Toulouse for various productions.

    He was assistant to Ioanna Papantoniou, Elli Papageorgakopoulou, Eva Manidaki, Francesco

    Zito, Pierre André Weitz. He was also assistant of Sophia Kokkosalaki for the costumes of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Athens Olympic Games 2004. From 2006 he has designed productions for theatre, dance and opera, at the National Theatre Greece, National Opera, Athens Festival and various theatres in Greece with directors like Argyro Chioti- Vasistas co, Maria Magkanari, Nikos Mastorakis, Marianna Kalbari, Sofia Mavragani, Raia Tsakiridi. He also designs and curates exhibitions for the Benaki Museum in Athens and various other museums. He taught Costume design at the Vakalo College of Design, Athens from 2009 to 2013.

  • As an actor and singer, Mehdi performed in various musical shows including the musical Le Soldat Rose in 2008 in Zénith Tour (2000 seat arenas throughout France), Palais des Congrès de Paris, Le Casino de Paris. As a musician and composer, Mehdi wrote music for Lettres à Barbara, Le Monty Python’s Flying Circus (french version in Paris and Edimburgh’s Fringe) and many theatre plays in Paris including La Dame de chez Maxim, Mémoires d’un tricheur, L’Idiot , Face à Face, L’Arche, Aux deux Colombes, Embarquement Immédiat, and The Portrait of Dorian Gray. In 2020, he composed music for the bio play Est-ce que j’ai une gueule d’Arletty that won 2 Molières (French Tony awards) including best musical theatrical show.

    Just before the French lockdown, Mehdi worked with Wendy Beckett in Paris on Un Espoir which played and prematurely stopped at L’Athénée Théâtre. Probably the first step to go to Athens with her new play Sappho in 2022 …

  • Katerina Arianoutsou is a costume and set designer for theatre, film and television. Her work has appeared in David Cronenberg’s film Crimes of the Future, Efthymis Filippou’s Rob at the Onassis Cultural Center, and Dimitris Karatzas’ Medea at the Athens Epidaurus Festival among many others. She studied performance design and film costume at Bournemouth University in the UK and is currently based in Athens, Greece.

  • Diana Iliescu has studied Theater directing at the National University of Theatrical and Film Arts in Bucharest. After a scholarship at Ithaca College in the US, she pursued a Masters degree in Theatrical Studies at Sorbonne University in Paris.

    She has worked as a theater and opera director both in Paris and Bucarest.

    She has also worked as an assistant director all over the world from the San Francisco Opera to Opéra royal de Wallonie in Liège or Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

  • Dimitris Koutas was born in Athens. From 2007 until today he has worked as a lighting designer at the Greek National Opera.

    He has worked alongside world-renowned lighting designers such as Fabiana Piccioli, Vinicio Cheli and the director Robert Wilson.

    Dimitris has designed the lighting for operas, among others, directed by N. Petropoulos and by M. Gyparakis. For theatre, among others directed by Vassilis Bisbikis and K. Spyropoulos and concerts by Alexandros Drakos Ktistakis at Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, musical performances by Konstantinos Vita & Nicko Patrelakis at the alternative stage and El Sistema Gr at Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Choreography, among others by Silvia Macchi, Maria Kousounis, Mariella Nestora.

    For the last 6 years, he has been designing the lighting for the higher professional dance school of the Greek National Opera.

    He was a member of the Eleftheria Deco team where he designed the lighting of the archaeological sites of the temple of Hephaestus and the Philopappou monument.

    He collaborates with Teatro Grattacielo from New York where he recently designed the lighting of the opera Idomeneo and his latest project is the theatrical show To Sose directed by Konstantinos Markoulakis.

  • Kostas Asmanis graduated as a cinematographer in 2005 in Paris and quickly got involved in the light design of many experimental movies. Later Working first for dance and theatre, he works for companies and the Crazy Horse Cabaret on tour.

  • Vasiliki Georgikopoulou has studied drama in Veaki Drama School in Greece, in Philippe Gaulier Clown School in Paris, has attended Actor’s Studio Workshop with A. Manolikakis and National Theatre Workshop with K. Evangelatos in Delphi. She also attends Contemporary and Jazz Dancing lessons, singing lessons in the National Conservatory and is a champion in Martial Arts (2nd Dan). She speaks greek, English and french fluently, some german and italian also.

    She has performed in theatre (Eftihia Papagiannopoulou 2021, Camp Europe Project 2018-19, The Shield and the Symposium 2016, The Sorrows of Young Verther 2016, Du Sexe de la Femme comme Champ de Bataille 2015, Mauthausen 2014, Ifigenia in Tauris 2013 etc, ), in cinema and television. Vasiliki has been nominated for the 1st Award of Female Actress in Avignon Festival 2015.

  • Maggie is relatively new to the Theatre and Arts scene and is proud to be working with Pascal Production here in Greece. Maggie was involved last year with the Claudel production at The Sydney Opera House, from audition to final curtain. With an IT background in data communications the transition to working with scripts and visuals has been thrilling. Maggie volunteers one day per week at her local hospital and also helps them with fund-raising events and administration.

  • Ismini Starida is an Architectural Engineer and a Lighting Designer, Programmer & Operator. She has worked for various styles and sizes of shows including Theatre, Dance, Music and TV productions, local and touring.

    Currently she works at the Greek National Opera. Also, she often collaborates with Theater Companies, Performers and Bands, taking care of the technical aspects of a performance, running the lighting show, preprogrammed or manually.
